Why OmniSniffer Exists

Failures rarely appear without warning. OmniSniffer researches measurable indicators of governance drift before failures become irreversible.

Its purpose is to preserve evidence, improve accountability, and support resilient system design through objective measurement.

Research Status

OmniSniffer is an active research initiative. Certain implementation details are intentionally withheld while development continues to protect research integrity and intellectual property.

Guiding Principles

• Evidence before assumption. Findings are grounded in verifiable, measurable signals rather than inference or assumed intent. Where evidence is incomplete, the system withholds judgment rather than filling the gap with speculation.
• No unilateral authority. No single actor — human or automated — holds sole power to override governance controls or dismiss a flagged finding. Consequential decisions require distributed accountability, not one party's discretion.
• Privacy by design. Monitoring is scoped to what is necessary for integrity assessment, and no more. Data collection, retention, and access are minimized from the outset rather than restricted after the fact.
• Fail closed by default. When integrity cannot be verified, the system defaults to a restrictive, safe state rather than proceeding under uncertainty. An unresolved gap is treated as a stop condition, not a pass.
